Use either fresh or canned corn to make this spicy salad. It’s a treat to have in the summers.

Spicy Corn Salad


  • 1 cup corn
  • Pinch of haldi
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, sliced
  • Few mint leaves, chopped
  • Few coriander leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 + ½ teaspoon chaat masala
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1 lemon


  • 1. Bring corn, salt, turmeric (haldi) and water to boil. Cook for 2-3 minutes till corn is soft and drain.
  • 2. Put the drained corn in a bowl. Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, chopped onion, green chilies, salt, red chili powder, lemon juice and ½ teaspoon chaat masala.
  • 3. Sprinkle with remaining chaat masala and serve.
