Enjoy this crispy pakora or vegetable fritters with ketchup & green chutney. Perfect for Ramazan and a quick snack with friends.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup gramflour / besan
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 potato, sliced
- 1/4th cup coriander (dhaniya), chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (can be increased as per taste)
- 1 tablespoon green chili paste / hari chutney
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ - 1 teaspoon dhaniya powder
- ½ - 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- Water, to make batter
- Oil, for frying
DIRECTIONS
- 1. Take a bowl and add gramflour (besan), onion, potatoes, coriander and green chili. Add spices (salt, coriander powder, red chili powder) and baking powder. Whisk well.
- 2. Add water to make a thick batter. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- 3. In the meanwhile, heat oil in a karhai or wok for frying.
- 4. Once the oil is hot use a tablespoon or your hands (be careful) to drop spoonfuls of the batter.
- 5. Fry for 2-3 minutes till light golden.
- 6. Take out using a slotted spoon and drain on a kitchen towel.
- 7. Serve hot with ketchup.
