Pasta is one of those minimalist dishes where the less you put in, the better it tastes. Plus you have to realize – there’s far more to pasta than just boiled noodles & canned sauce. You can throw in some diced tomatoes, sprinkle it with grated cheddar cheese, douse it in lemon sauce/olive oil or simply add a few key herbs such as oregano or basil. Wraps are a staple lunch choice for people who are in a hurry or need to eat on the move. Meat, vegetables, some sauce all neatly folded in a pita bread or other flatbread is what constitutes a wrap. Just keep standard sandwich ingredients in the fridge and a quick wrap is easy to make AND filling too! Plus they can be as healthy as you would like them to be. Unless of course you fill them with fried chicken nuggets and french fries. Either way that’s an argument for another time, for now keep it simple and healthy.
