Peshawari Mutton Karahi

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ kg Mutton
  • ½ cup Oil
  • 2 to 3 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt or on taste
  • 6 Green chillies, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic, paste
  • 1 Onion, (large sliced)
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder(dhaniya powder)
  • 2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric (haldi)
  • ¼ teaspoon Black cumin seeds (zeera)
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoon Yogurt
  • Lemon, slices

DIRECTIONS

  • 1. Heat up the oil in a sauce pan.
  • 2. Add mutton, tomatoes, salt, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, onion and cook on medium heat till meat nearly tender.
  • 3. Add coriander powder, turmeric(haldi), black pepper, cumin seeds, garam masala and bhonafying for 10 minutes or mashing with spoon till tender.
  • 4. Add yogurt, green chillies and fry well till oil come on top.
  • 5. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves and some lemon slices
