
Creative Ways to Serve Tang to your Guests
The temperature is soaring on a daily basis and all that our guests want when they enter our house is a refreshing glass of Tang!
So whenever the bell rings, we have a tray prepared with lots of ice-cubes! The classic Orange Tang, the fruity Pineapple Tang, the spicy Lemon Pepper Tang and the new Mosambi Tang. Loads of ice-cubes of course!
But sometimes we wish to really impress our guests so here are some fun ways to serve Tang to your guests! Give it a twist and make it look all Fancy Shmancy!
2 tablespoons mint leaves
2 lemons, cut in quarters
1 sachet Lemon Pepper Tang
1 orange, cut in slices
2 lemons, cut slices
Water
Method:
Take an empty ice-cube tray and put lemon wedges & mint leaves in them.
Dissolve 1 lemon pepper Tang sachet in a pitcher.
Pour the Tang in the prepared ice-cube tray.
Keep the ice-cube tray in the freezer until set.
Meanwhile, cut some orange slices & lemon slices.
Layer them in a pitcher. Add more Lemon Pepper Tang.
Top it off with water.
Add the prepared ice-cubes. Go ooh & aah over how pretty they look!
Give it all a stir.
Serve to guests. Wait for them to go like OMG – how stunning does that look?!
4 tablespoons Orange Tang
2-3 cups of water (as per preference)
Lemon wedges
Caster sugar
Club soda
Method:
Dissolve Orange tang with water in a square or rectangle dish. Make sure it’s dissolved properly.
Keep in freezer till set (at least 4 hours)
In the meanwhile take some mocktail glasses – the fancier the better!
Spread caster sugar in a shallow plate.
Moisten the edge of the mocktail glass with a lemon wedge.
Dip in sugar (or salt or whatever you prefer). Set aside.
Take out the Orange tang from the freezer. Scrape it out with a spoon. Put some muscle behind it!
Put the slushy frozen Orange tang in the prepared glass.
Top with club soda.
Put a straw or directly serve to guests.
