Other than the freezer setting time, this tropical sorbet can be made in minutes.
  • PREP TIME: 5 minutes (plus chilling time)
  • COOK TIME: 10 minutes
  • SERVINGS: 4 persons
Tropical Sorbet


  • 2 tablespoons Orange Tang
  • 2 tablespoons Pineapple Tang
  • 2 tablespoons Mango Tang
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Juice of 1 lemon


  • 1. Make sugar syrup by dissolving sugar in 1/4th cup water. Set aside.
  • 2. Take a large glass bowl and add orange tang, pineapple tang & mango tang.
  • 3. Add water and whisk till dissolved.
  • 4. Add sugar syrup and stir.
  • 5. Add lemon juice and stir.
  • 6. Pour in a freezer safe container. Make sure it’s not glass as glass can expand and crack in the freezer.
  • 7. Put in the freezer until half-way set.
  • 8. Take out the half frozen sorbet and blend it for about 15 seconds in the blender.
  • 9. Pour it in the same freezer safe container and put to freeze again till set completely.
  • 10. Scoop out and serve chilled with mint leaves on top.
