This simple rice uses fresh cumin seeds for aroma and flavor. Serve with your favourite chicken gravy.

- 2 cups rice, soaked for 20 minutes
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 cups water
- salt to taste
- Dash of lemon juice
- 1. Heat butter.
- 2. Add the cumin seeds and fry for 2 minutes till the seeds splutter.
- 3. Add the rice, lemon juice, water and salt.
- 4. Mix well and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook covered for 15 minutes till all water evaporates.
